AIHRE advances Indigenous health by bringing Indigenous knowledge and community priorities to the center of research, evaluation, and implementation. We partner with communities and organizations to strengthen systems, translate knowledge into action, and advance community-defined health and wellness.
Meet the Founder
Damian is Mandan and Arikara, and his family hails from the Fort Berthold Reservation in North Dakota. He is an Indigenous health researcher and implementation scientist whose work centers Indigenous knowledge, relationships, and community priorities in research, evaluation, and implementation. He brings more than two decades of experience working across Tribal and Urban Indian health, public health, academia, and health systems.
